Self-hosting terms and conditions

Last Updated: 02.24.2025

In addition to our cloud-based Services, Miiflow.ai offers a self-hosted option ("Self-Hosted Services") that allows you to deploy and operate our software using Docker images on your own infrastructure. The following terms apply specifically to the Self-Hosted Services:

Subject to your compliance with these Legal Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the Miiflow.ai Docker images on your own infrastructure solely for your internal business purposes.

When using the Self-Hosted Services, you:

  • May not modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Docker images or attempt to derive the source code
  • May not remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the Docker images
  • May not use the Docker images to create a competing product or service
  • May not sublicense, rent, lease, or transfer the Docker images to any third party
  • Must comply with all the same restrictions that apply to our cloud-based Services

When using the Self-Hosted Services, you are solely responsible for:

  • Providing and maintaining all necessary hardware, software, network infrastructure, and other equipment needed to deploy and run the Docker images
  • Implementing appropriate security measures to protect your infrastructure, data, and the Docker images
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction(s) of operation
  • Regularly updating the Docker images to the latest version we provide
  • Backing up your data and configurations
  • We may, at our discretion, release updates, patches, or new versions of the Docker images
  • Updates may be provided for security, performance, functionality, or compliance reasons
  • Your subscription may include different levels of support for Self-Hosted Services as specified in your service plan
  • The Self-Hosted Services may collect and transmit certain technical data about usage to Miiflow.ai for operational, support, and product improvement purposes
  • This data collection is limited to non-personal technical information about the operation of the software
  • You remain responsible for compliance with privacy laws regarding any personal data you process using the Self-Hosted Services

We reserve the right to audit your use of the Self-Hosted Services to verify compliance with these Legal Terms, including but not limited to verification of the number of instances deployed and proper licensing.

IN ADDITION TO THE DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS IN SECTIONS 15 AND 16 OF THESE LEGAL TERMS, THE SELF-HOSTED SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY REGARDING AVAILABILITY, RELIABILITY, FUNCTIONALITY, OR COMPATIBILITY WITH YOUR INFRASTRUCTURE. WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR DEPLOYMENT, CONFIGURATION, OR USE OF THE SELF-HOSTED SERVICES.

Upon termination or expiration of your subscription:

  • Your license to use the Docker images will immediately terminate
  • You must cease all use of the Docker images and remove them from your infrastructure
  • You must certify in writing that all copies of the Docker images have been removed from your systems upon our request

You agree to comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations when using the Self-Hosted Services, including the Export Administration Regulations maintained by the U.S. Department of Commerce.
